一直努力在幫我找position
雖然我的部分還不確定
但我們應該是會搬去遙遠的加州了
目前計畫大概暑假7月底時搬家吧來過我們家的人都知道我們東西超多
所以搬家還真是大工程
而且東岸搬到西岸應該所費不眥(搬家費學校給不多)
我們目前計畫到Chico應該會先租公寓或是房子
再慢慢看房子
從現在的四房四廳要搬到二房兩廳
實在是很大的改變
所以我們決定能賣的東西都賣掉
我的手腳挺快的
上週末從Bible Church Women's Retreat回來之後
就把目前可以先賣掉的大件家俱照一照放在網路照片上
我先發email給附近的台灣同學
回應還挺熱烈的
大概大家都知道我們家的東西物美價廉吧
呵呵呵
我覺得這個方法挺好的喔
有圖片大家比較知道究竟是怎麼樣的東西
而且若賣掉了直接在上面updatet成sold!
也省得一直有人來問說什麼東西賣掉沒
真是方便呀!
家俱中有一個小朋友的bench (如圖)
當初在overstock.com花了不少銀子買回來
結果都放著當裝飾而已
(偶爾party時有小朋友會跑去坐)
雖然完好如新
但現在也只能半價賣出了
我想說台灣學生應該比較不會有人需要這種bench(拿來當鞋架有點浪費,也太貴了點)
所以我也試著在CRAIGSLIST賣賣看
craigslist.org是個很不錯的賣東西的網站
很多東西都可以在上面賣
它照地區分
所以買主多是當地人
比較沒有運送方面的麻煩
而且照以往經驗
賣給美國人的價錢一般可以比較高一些喔
結果一post上craiglist
當晚就好多人回信
我想說就先回第一個人好了
是一個叫fishers fishers的
他回信:
Thanks for the prompt response to my inquiry. Am Julian and I just moved to Nevada. I will like to buy this so pls do withdraw the posting on from CL. I will have the certified check payment for the good mailed out to you. I am afraid that I might not be able to come for the pick up myself due to the nature of my job. I intended to hire a mover to come for the pick up after you have received your payment, so pls I will need both your name address along with you phone number to issue out the payment.

我看到回信時就覺得好複雜喔
都搬到內華達了還要為這小小的板凳找人來搬
而且究竟何時才會來搬啊?
畢竟還有很多其他local的人有興趣
就不想賣他了
但Charles說這人看起來很有誠意
還是賣他吧

便回了他email告訴他地址
結果呢
收到他的回信:
Hi Ann, how was your day? I want you to understand that the deal as my secretary as posted the payment already which will be delivered to you today if not then tomorrow, but there was a slight error I guess we can handle with care, instead of the actual amount of $50 for the Bench for kids , she made out the check for $3000. She claimed that was what I requested, but she didn't get that straight.
So once you have the check please cash it and deduct the money for your goods plus $50 that for your run around expenses.
The excess fund should please be sent to my mover via WESTERN UNION, this fund will be used in offsetting the cost of the shipment he as undertaken for me recently.

現在騙子還真是無所不在
連網路上單純賣個板凳都會變成獵物
假意叫我們把post拿掉
還拖了幾天
害我們錯失了賣東西的時機
我後來連絡第二順位的buyer
他還問我說為什麼第一個不買
一時也不知道麼跟他解釋
唉
真是氣死我了
還好約了週末他會來看板凳
希望這次交易順利囉
不過感謝 神的保守
得到一個網路賣東西的經驗
卻沒有什麼損失
我們之後還有好多更貴重的東西要賣呢
像是鋼琴, 車子和房子
更是需要 神的保守和看顧哩
總之
網路買賣東西的確有不少風險
